Born and raised in Little Rock, Arkansas, I received my undergraduate degree from Southwest Baptist University, did graduate studies in Microbiology at Missouri State University, and earned my medical degree from A.T. Still University. I completed a year of general internship at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital, a year of Internal Medicine residency at Akron General Hospital, and then a residency in Obstetrics / Gynecology at Marshall University.
After more than four years of private practice in OB/GYN in Crossville, Tennessee, our family relocated to Joplin in 2001 in order to concentrate practice in GYN. With the exception of spending 1-½ years practicing medicine in Southeast Asia at medical mission clinics and hospitals, I've devoted my practice to caring for women’s health here in the 4-state area. I'm also a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists
I've been married to my college sweetheart, Cheri, since 1988. We have seven children, two daughters-in-law, and four adorable grandchildren (and counting).

My name is Ciri Corbin and I have been happily married since 1994 to my husband, Travis. God has not only blessed me with a loving and dedicated husband, He has also blessed me with three wonderful, healthy children: Devin, Coral, and Zane. And just to make our family complete, we recently added a pug and an English bulldog to our happy home. In my spare time, I enjoy running for exercise, fun, and for sport. I also love watching my children perform in whatever sport/activity they are participating in.
My career in the medical field began in the year 2000 when I started working as a secretary and then a nurse tech with Freeman Health System. With the support of God, my husband, children, extended family, and too many other people to name, I graduated with my Bachelor’s degree as a registered nurse in 2007 and earned my Master’s degree as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse in 2012. Most of my time as an APRN has been spent in the acute care setting, but I have now happily planted my feet in women’s health working with Dr. Adcock. It is a blessing to work with a great, well-respected physician and devoted Christian man, as well as a happy, positive, hard-working office staff. I love where my career has taken me and am honored to be able to serve and help the women of our community in their personal healthcare needs.
